we start at eleven with you decide coverage. massive numbers of voters are headed to the polls early...too tuesday's election. milwaukee beat its own early-voting record... set back in 2012. our deandra corinthios has more from downtown. city officials estimate when all is said and done...it will be a 27 percent increase. the most recent update from the election commission showed 38 thousand absentee votes cast. two thousand more than in 2012. that was wednesday!

city officials estimate that number is likely to reach close to 50- thousand. that translates to roughly one in five voters citywide. as long as you're registered-- saturday is the last day to vote early. if you're not-- you have to get it done by friday night-- or wait until election day. and new this year --there are three locations the zeidler building downtown, midtown center and the forest home library. milwaukee mayor tom barrett says the higher totals....are due to expanded voting hours -- and vote. early voting runs today from 830 am to 7 pm...and tomorrow if you're already registered ... from noon to five. we have information about all three locations...at fox6 now

police are looking for a suspect who shot a man walking into his home on milwaukee's northwest side. it happened just before 11 last night near 88th and cap gunshots at a 34-year-old man. the victim was taken to the hospital by a friend. no word on his condition. police continue to investigate. a suspect is in custody this morning after leading police on a high speed chase. officials say they spotted a car a suspect used, to flee an armed robbery near 10th and center. officers attempted to stop the car...but the driver took off. the car eventually stopped at 10th and cleveland -- and the suspect bailed out of

an s-u-v was driving the wrong way on eye-94 near deerfield and hit the accountants car... and one other vehicle. the driver of the s-u-v is from waunakee and is in critical condition. the lone occupant of the other vehicle, a man from northbrook illinois, also died. even for investigators on scene... this was a devastating accident. sgt. william miller says: "we're humans too -- and when you see this kind of damage and carnage out there, it's very difficult to process. i know that my people out there that were working last night, they're take care of this job." new at eleven... the milwaukee police officer who shot and killed sylville smith...pleads not guilty this morning on separate sexual assault charges. dominique heaggan-brown was arrested on sexual assault charges less than two weeks ago. last night, the fire and police commission upheld chief ed flynn's decision to fire haeggan-brown. police say it's the result of an internal investigation of

ex-police officer. haeggan-brown was on paid leave since the august shooting of sylville smith. smith's death sparked nights of violence in the sherman park neighborhood. he allegedly assaulted a man at his apartment after the two were drinking at a bar while watching coverage of the violent protests. also developing-- two caledonia parents are accused of abusing their baby. jest wongs-nuss and krystal hall face charges of abuse and neglect.investigator s say hall took t racine hospital. the baby had fractures on his skull and bleeding on his brain. the injuries were so great, the infant required treatment in milwaukee. we are told the infant's injuries are not life threatening. when the parents were questioned by police--they denied abuse. a milwaukee woman is now offering 50- thousand dollars... for information that could lead to an arrest in her daughter's shooting death. 25-year-old ebony taylor was

july 13th, while sitting on a porch near 33rd and hadley. her killer, or killers, have not been caught. taylor's foster mother, kim zul- kow-ski, tells fox 6, she hopes a considerable cash incentive could convince someone to come forward...and ultimately lead to the people responsible for taylor's death. anyone with information is asked to contact milwaukee police. many workers in milwaukee county will soon get a raise. the milwaukee county board voted minimum wage within the county to 15- dollars by 20-22. here's how it would break down.. on january first - the wage would rise to 12-dollars and 25-cents. then on january first of 20-18...it would go up to 13 dollars...and increase by 50-cents every year until it reaches 15-dollars on january first, 20- 22. right now, the minimum wage is 7- dollars and 25-cents an hour.

darrell lofton, has plenty of coaching experience, both male and females. "i also coached the wisconsin warriors which is a milwaukee semi-pro women's football and that was her first experience in football. she was very young and probably doesn't remember it but that was her first experience seeing all women play football." but even with his experience, letting his daughter battle in the trenches with especially for mom. "obviously as parents we worry football is rough, but i convinced my wife that as long as i was involved and coaching her and teaching her the right way to tackle, the right way to hit to avoid concussions that she'd be ok." and she's been more than ok. this year, sabina was named a captain of her middle school team. something coach john curran say she's earned. "she's someone who had to do a lot of different things for us, as then as time went on we relied on her to be a leader
